The recipient of more than 30 awards for design and creative work in the advertising industry, James is an experimental artist who has an interest in combining both generative and analogue painting methods. Allan's works are concerned with how to make sense from the complexities of high-speed information networks, open systems, and the notion of ‘how do we see information as form.' His works are often characterised by an exhilarating sense of speed.
In 2012 James completed a Master of Fine Arts degree at Elam. He is an art dealer and consultant, a curator,
writer and artist.
